Second Saturdays | 9am to Noon
Sweat Equity is our monthly opportunity to care for our church facilities together. On the second Saturday of each month, we tackle cleaning, organizing, maintenance, and beautification projects at both the Sanctuary Resource Center and Worship Center. Whether you’re young or old, skilled or just willing to help, there’s a place for you on the team!
From planting the Love MPLS Art Garden in warmer months to partnering with the Men’s and Women’s Ministries on special projects, Sweat Equity is all about stewarding the spaces we’ve been blessed with together.

Frequently Asked
Questions
What are common Sweat Equity tasks?
At Sanctuary, we strive to have a welcoming space. Nothing is more hospitable than having a clean, beautiful space where we can welcome our church family and guests. At Sweat Equity, we work hard to vacuum and straighten our 400+ Sanctuary auditorium chairs, we do some glass cleaning, vacuuming, small projects to help support Royal Hood or other ministries, minor seasonal yardwork, etc.
Who can volunteer at Sweat Equity?
EVERYONE! Adults and kids of all ages and skill levels are welcome to volunteer at Sweat Equity. It’s a great place to meet people and volunteer with your kids.
What can I expect at Sweat Equity?
Sweat Equity is every 2nd Saturday from 9 to noon. Our facility co-managers, Kevin Middlebrook or Terrance Nixon, will lead a short devotional, encourage the group to have a snack (donuts are a Sweat Equity staple), and then will help volunteers pick tasks.
